jazz - consider that the travel preparations particularly are concentrated on the weekends. That is also the reason, why we already soon understood that such a table is urgently necessary! In one year preparation (one year is rather scarce, think of saving money!) there are as well known only 52 weekends. Of it you can subtract already 10 times for family celebrations, Christmas, Easter... etc. and equivalent again about 15 weekends for holidays, festivals, hobby, short trips with friends and this like. It is important not to spend the time until the journey only walking a room up and down, saving money and a preparing the trip. Carpe Diem! - and it makes a waiting more bearable...

And then again about 5 weekends go away for doing nothing. You cannot work each weekend at the journey... Thus still well 20 weekends remain, on which you can concern yourself with the journey (whereby the consulates, physicians, offices etc. are closed at weekends naturally. Therefore also plan sufficient time at weekdays and during office hours).

Note: we began this schedule in January 2002. Together we tried to think of all preparations and to insert these in the table, where we assumed it temporally. Afterwards we adapted, corrected and added the entries in each case. You have thus the real process!
